wife is Dr. Sally
Babu Zachariah, M.D. Her medical
education was in Kottayam medical college.
She has done residency at Chicago medical
school and Cook county hospital [Illinois
state]. Her fellowship was in Neurosurgery
and Stroke, at University of Illinois and
Cook County hospital. At present, she is
the Chief of Neurology
Service of Bay Pines VA medical Center
and Chief of Stroke
divisions Petersburg, Florida. She
is an Associate Professor
of Neurology of University of South Florida.
She is also actively participating the social,
cultural and religious activities. |

She was vice president of Central
Florida Malayalee Association from
1997-1998 and actively involved in
Continuing Medical Educational activities
for the hospital and also for AKMG.
She had presented 27 Abstracts for
national and international associations
and she published 42 articles in many
peer reviewed journals and is actively
involved in various research studies
especially for Stroke. She has also
published 5 book chapters. |

Her father is Rtd. Captain P. J. Thomas,
son of Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Annamma Joesph.
He served the nation, India, for a long
period of 30 years in Military service at
the border region and participated Indo
Pakistan war. He also served in world War
